By accessing or using CoverMe ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service.

2. Description of Service

CoverMe is an AI-powered platform that generates personalized cover letters based on job descriptions, resumes, and user-provided information. The Service includes:

• AI-generated cover letter drafts
• Cover letter editing and customization tools
• Document storage and management
• Account management features

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

3.2 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code

5. User Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload or provide to the Service, including job descriptions, resumes, and cover letters ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to:

• Use, process, and store your User Content to provide the Service
• Generate cover letters based on your User Content
• Improve our AI algorithms and service quality (with appropriate anonymization)

5.2 Generated Content

Cover letters generated by our AI ("Generated Content") are created based on your User Content. You own the Generated Content and may use it for your personal or professional purposes, including job applications.

However, you acknowledge that Generated Content is created using AI technology and may require review, editing, and personalization before use. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of Generated Content for any specific purpose.

5.3 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, functionality, and underlying technology, is owned by CoverMe and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our written permission.

6. Subscription and Payment

6.1 Free and Paid Plans

We offer both free and paid subscription plans. Free plans have limitations on usage, while paid plans provide additional features and higher usage limits.

6.2 Payment Terms

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our refund policy
• You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your subscription
• We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice

6.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of the billing period.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

7.1 Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee that the Service will be available 100% of the time. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

7.2 AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI-generated cover letters are provided "as is" and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content that requires review. You are solely responsible for:

• Reviewing and editing Generated Content before use
• Ensuring Generated Content is accurate and appropriate
• Verifying that Generated Content does not infringe on third-party rights
• Using Generated Content in compliance with applicable laws

7.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COVERME SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CoverMe and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through your account settings or contacting us.

9.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you:

• Violate these Terms or our Privacy Policy
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Fail to pay subscription fees when due
• Use the Service in a manner that harms us or other users

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. We may delete your account and associated data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Novi Sad, Serbia.

11. General Provisions

11.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CoverMe regarding the Service.

11.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

11.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

11.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
